Sant Agnello by foot and Sorrento by shuttle bus – this hotel puts you in prime position for exploring.
The hotel is in the heart of Sant Agnello, with a selection of shops and restaurants. There are plenty more options in Sorrento – the hotel runs a shuttle service if you don’t fancy the 20-minute walk.
There’s a decent-sized pool, which comes with a separate section for children plus a whirlpool. Next to it is a lovely shaded area that’s great for lunch, and there’s a dining room for evening meals. Rooms and public areas had a facelift in March 2017, too.

Thoroughly enjoyed stay at this hotel
We arrived late and were dealt with quickly at reception. Our room was on the ground floor near to reception and the lift. It didn’t bother us at all, the only time we heard anything was when people were leaving for the airport early in the morning. The room was nice, a mixture of old and new. It was clean and tidy with plenty of storage. The beds were firm and we slept very well. Bathroom was quite roomy. They supply towels, soap, shampoo/shower gel, shower cap. The shower was very powerful and it was a lovely deep bath. My hairdryer did not work when I went to use it. I went to reception and the got a tradesman to look at it within 5 minutes, it couldn’t be fixed then, but was told it would be fixed tomorrow, meanwhile I was given the key for an empty room so that I could dry my hair and when I returned to my room the next day sure enough the hairdryer had been fixed, great service. There was plenty of plugs for charging phones etc in the room. A large bottle of water was put in you fridge everyday. All the staff kept the hotel spotlessly clean, the staff were all very pleasant and always kind. The food was lovely with plenty of choice, breakfast, lunch and dinner. The only thing I would say was making the guests eat outside three nights a week isn’t a great idea. It was October so it was cool outside, so by the time you had gone for your food it was cold before we ate it. Also outside you did not have a drink served to you. You had to go and queue to get a drink with your meal. When we were there they cancelled the third night of eating outside as it was so cold. The hotel could do with more bar staff in the evening. The two blokes worked very hard but there was always a long queue. The cocktails and beer was lovely. New glasses would be a good idea though. You don’t need to go on organised tours, it is so easy and cheap to go by local buses, boats and trains. We visited Naples, Pompeii, Positano, Amalfi and Capri. It is a nice walk into Sorrento, it takes about twenty minutes. The pavement is a bit narrow in places but I still felt safe. All in all for the money we paid for the accommodation it was very good.More
Fantastic people and venue
First time in Sorrento and Italy, not the last. Beautiful town, great days out. Hotel was great, friendly staff, lovely fresh food. Staff speak great English, couldn’t be more accommodating. Hope to return one day More
Reasonable value for money
The hotel is traditional in style with very attractive and well maintained grounds. Our room was standard, clean spacious and comfortable with a small balcony overlooking the pool. No complaints there. The buffet food was plentiful though limited in range. The live pasta station offered an additional option. The food was generally under seasoned so salt and pepper should be provided on every table . The fresh bread selection was a highlight at every meal !The house wines were all bland but drinkable and certainly plentiful. The spirits were variable in quality and authenticity but the Larios ( Spanish) gin was decent. The staff were all friendly helpful and very efficient throughout the hotel. If you stay here with realistic expectations you ll have a good time in a lovely part of Italy.More
Bedding filthy upon arrival, various stains - 2nd room also had permanent flush on the loo. Replacement sheet was still stained so we adapted it ourselves and fixed the flush too. Staff were friendly (most of them). Maid was fab! Food left a lot to be desired in our opinion. Lunch was best place to get hot pizza or chips- only lunched twice and one of those was on day of arrival. Had dinner once..food not warm and theres a chef in the corner mixing pasta and sauce at your request from the choices available, which wasnt hot either. Had to queue for days to get a drink and entertainment was a bloke on an organ...leaves a lot to be desired. Not a 4 star in our opinion. We still had a great time anyway despite this as who stays in the hotel anyway when you have Sorrento on your doorstep.More
Seventh trip to Sorrento. First time at this hotel.Slightly dated but I think this added to its character. Great location. The bells ringing was actually quite nice. Can't believe people have moaned about it. We really enjoyed the whole holiday. The staff were excellent. Our room on the lower floor which was fine despite previous reviews. Lovely bed. Quiet. Food was very good with plenty of choice. Previous moans about cheese unfounded. Asked for Gorgonzola and was given it. Plates could do with being warmed up but not a big issue. Queuing for drinks was sometimes annoying especially prior to dinner. We tended to stay at the pool bar after six and order a few beers to cover the time before the indoor bar opened. All in all we were looking for a pre winter break that was good value for money and this holiday was just right. No problems with the safe. Compliments to all the staff who were excellent. Especially the waiters who were very attentive. I would return. Funny thing was seeing some people having pizza delivered on last night from local take away. Seriously.! How rude is that to the staff.More
