We opted for this place as a base for exploring santorini on a budget. Wish we did at least a few days in other more luxury parts of the island, however we made the most of our holiday & enjoyed every single outing excursion we did. The hotel is very basic, on arrival around 10pm the owners son was sat eating pizza near the pool didn't bother to greet or help us with our cases up the steps which we found rather rude & lazy.. the room was very basic with an aweful half built & abandoned building project view from our outdoor sitting area. The cooker ring gave me an electric shock when I turned it on! So after going back & forth for a replacement to the reception we were treated like we've done something wrong! The owner Lucia showed up next morning not looking very happy with us as we were expecting a ring burner that worked for the 3rd time! So eventually we got one but with loads of attitude! We stayed out all day & only returned to hotel to sleep for the next 7 days. Hired a scooter & a ATV which was a godsend as we went all the way to OIA on it a few times, Breathtaking experience. The bus service we used a few times which was very efficient comfortable & on time. The climb up to the monastery on the mountain is a great experience, also a must is a boat trip to see the island from the sea! We had an amazing time seeing the most beautiful island in the world! However most definitely won't be staying at this hotel again.. seen some amazing places around for a fraction of the price we paid lucia villas!

We booked through Thomson and after reading reviews were apprehensive. We travelled in school holidays 2 adults and 2 children. After a flight delay and problems at santorini airport we arrived close to midnight and was welcomed by reception and quickly shown to our room - 14. We had a double bedroom and a twin bedroom which was perfect for our needs and bigger than what we had booked. The kitchen was basic but as I wasn’t expecting to cook a three course meal on it I didn’t mind! The bathroom was again dated but perfectly acceptable. It was a nice surprise to find the air conditioning was offered for free and the only thing we had to pay was a 50c a day tax -€3.50 for the week. There was also an option to hire safety deposit box at €10 for the week. The room was very clean and was kept this way with a daily room clean, the chap who cleans the rooms works dawn to dusk to keep everything in order. We didn’t eat at the accommodation however I did see a menu offering snacks and it seemed reasonably priced. The pool is small and there are only about 8 loungers however only 3 are ever in the sun which is a shame if like when we visited people put towels on then went off into town to do shopping........ Perissa is a spread out village and we found eating on the main road lots cheaper than eating beach front plus food was better. A great little gem we found was “God’s Garden” All in all a great little cheap week away!

Stayed here in June for a week. Wasn’t sure what to expect having read the reviews on trip advisor previously. Well I always like to give an honest review so here goes. The hotel is in the perfect location. Just a 5 min stroll down the road to the beach of Perissa and the bus stop. Plenty of restaurants along the sea front and you can catch the little boat that goes to Kamari. The hotel is exceptionally clean and very basic which having spoken to other people is quite normal for Greece. I had a 1 bedroom studio apartment with small kitchenette and modern bathroom. Nice little terrace which got the sun all afternoon, a hot tub which I never used not quite sure why they have these as you have to pay extra and they take up a lot of room on the terrace. The kitchenette has a kettle, fridge, small 2 ring hob and basic equipment. I only used the kettle and fridge as it was far too convenient to eat out The bed was very comfortable and sheets changed regularly. Bathroom very modern but flooded every time I used it. Towels changed regularly too. The pool is very limited on sunbeds and not ideal for children as the floor is small pebbles and no children’s pool. It was never busy tho. On the whole this is an ideal place to base yourself if you want to explore Santorini. Lucia the owner is on hand to answer any questions and queries you may have. I would have no hesitation in booking here again
