What a Gem
From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome. Billy and Costas work so hard to keep everyone relaxed and happy. They gave us advice on places to go and recommended the best restaurants to visit. The hotel is small (32 Rooms) and everybody we met at the hotel loved it. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the cleaners kept our room spotless. Location is perfect as it is only 15 minutes walk to Kos town or the beach. Will stay there the next time I visit KosMore
Super Stay Yet Again
Another 2 fabulous weeks at our most favourite destination. Already booked again for next year - I know it sounds boring returning time and again to the same place - but why fix it if it ain't broke???? If you want a sunny, relaxing, friendly holiday - The Bahamas is the place to go.More
Average hotel, with many extra charges. Very disappointing breakfast.
After reading good reviews, the reality was quite underwhelming. To be fair the room, although compact and basic, was clean, with modern furniture and nice comfy beds, and had a small balcony which caught the sun in the afternoon. We went in October when the weather was pleasantly warm but not hot, so we didn't need the aircon, which was an extra 50 EUR per week, which seems very expensive to me. Also 1EUR per day for a mattress on the sunbeds by the pool, 10 EUR per week for a safety deposit drawer near the reception area, and 25 EUR if you want to keep your room until 6 pm on your last day. Hotel is located on the outskirts of Kos town and about 15 minutes walk from the main restaurant area. Fairly quiet most of the time but there did tend to be dogs barking and cockerels crowing early in the morning. WiFi connection was good. Didn't eat or drink at hotel, apart from breakfast, which was very disappointing. Exactly the same every morning. Watery orange juice, sickly cherry juice, cereal, watery milk, stewed tea and coffee, dry bread and toasting bread, strawberry or apricot jam, hard boiled eggs, poor quality ham and cheese slices, dry cake, sliced water melon. The only highlight being Greek yoghurt and honey which were excellent. Needless to say we didn't spend much time at hotel, but explored the whole island which is lovely, with many places of interest. To sum up, if you want basic you won't be disappointed.More
Holiday oct 17
Just arrived home after a 2 week stay at the Bahamas and what a fab two weeks it was. The hotel is small and family run they really do work so hard there. the whole hotel is absolutely spotless , rooms cleaned everyday to a very high standard . We only spent a few days of our holiday by the pool but again spotlessly clean and lovely bar snacks served up by Maria. The hotel is a 10 min walk from beach or old town which is ideal as the surrounding area by night is very peaceful, there is a local cockerel the first night I thought oh here go's but really never heard him after that unless we listened for him. Costas and Billy really work hard to make this gem of a hotel what it is if you get the chance to go, go you won't regret it . P.s they do a Greek night on a Monday don't miss it they do a BBQ I have never tasted pork chops like it the best ever. Thank you Bahamas for a peaceful relaxing holiday . More
Lovely hotel Billy and Costas very friendly. Maria makes lovely food around the pool. The girls work very hard doing breakfast and then keeping the rooms spotlessly clean, Rooms are basic but have a fridge and hair dryer. Safe and air conditioning available at a small cost. We tend to keep to ourselves, there is no pressure to join in or drink there. We did do a quiz on a Monday which Janet organised. She is a lovely rep for tui, always coming to see if you're ok. A 15 minute walk to lovely Kos town lots of lovely restaurants. We always went back to Bahamas for a drink after, which I think can go on till late if you want. Hired bikes which was great fun. Lovely hotel, lovely people would definitely go back.More
