Tondoris Studios and Apartments

Staying in a 2 bed apartment which is basic but clean. Tin opener left alot to be desired so just bought a new one. Air con was €70 for 2 weeks ehich is very reasonable however if the other bedroom was occupied it would be double. Pool area nice however sun loungers could do with a spruce up or padding to hide the marks that are on them and add a little comfort. They really haven't got to grips with the music and if we are spendinv the day at the pool then I ask them to change the music which they have on a permanent loop!! We've gond through 70's 80's and 00's but they always revert back to the same thing which is absolutely numb skulling. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE just play the bloody charts and leave it on unless you have a request for the same music to be played over and over and over and over and over and over. Get my drift? Staff are friendly and approachable food is nice and plenty of places to eat including a British Homemade Pie Shop if you like that sort of thing. The beaches are quite small but plenty of sunbeds and are usually free if you buy a drink ftom the premises behind. Would I come back. Yes. If they sorted the music.

The staff are very friendly and you feel very comfortable and safe. The rooms are as they say, very clean but basic, no tv or radio. The shower is a shower hose and shower head, it isnt connected to the wall so you have to hold it whilst you wash. A bit tricky at first but you soon get the hang of it, saves gallons if water. May need to buy some loo paper, it wasnt replaced when finished. Hired AirCon which was €40 for 1 week. If you have 2 rooms you will need to double the price. A must though if its hot. They have left a couple of plug in mosquito repellents, dont know how good as didnt use them. Kitchen area had fridge, 2 ring and over counter cooker, kettle, toaster. One tea towel supplied and changed every 2 days as were the sheets and towels. There was cutlery, plates, glasses etc. Ask if you want more they seem happy to supply. Most seem to have washing lines and pegs to hang swimwear etc. Pool area was very clean, lots of sunloungers were available without 'reserving' them, the bar was also clean and welcoming. Didnt find it to be a party bar but had music playing, seems the same songs over and over, please change it more often. Showed football matches on the tv. A couple of pool tables. Small beer was €2.40, avarage price for other bars. Ice cream was a bit pricy €7 for 2 magnums. Food was good and plenty but a bit limited if you didnt venture out, but there were plenty of restaurants very close serving traditional meals, mousaka €6.00, plenty of fish meals. Come out off hotel, turn right, short walk to small supermarket on left which seemed to have most things. Water was 12 bottles €3. Walk on 5 mins and you come to the beach, just before that turn right and you hit the strip, bit noisy party area we were told. No comment as didnt go there. Its a flat area, great for people with walking difficulties, mobility scooters and push chairs. Bottom line question is would i come back. I've stayed at a lot of swanky hotels all over the world, and yes i would, its an honest,friendly place, without frills. Hope this helps.

Tondoris apartments , what an amazing place run by amazing people , ideal location near beaches & shops fantastic restaurants , brilliant pool area, your holiday can be as quiet or as busy as you want it to be , they also prepare fab food iff you want it ,relaxed atmosphere , apartments are well equipt and clean , will definitely return , thanks for a great holiday
