The beachfront Atlantica Miramare Beach is a contemporary hotel that offers a relaxing pool scene and first-class dining.
This hotel is pulled right up next to a beach, so you can get to the shore in a few steps. Take a 10-minute drive along the coastline, and you’ll come across the area’s marina and a line-up of seafront tavernas.
Inside, the hotel is really stylish. We’re talking coffee and cream-coloured sofas in a softly lit lobby, a red-on-red restaurant, and all-white wicker sofas in a bar terrace that floats over a koi carp pond.

Won't be back
Started writing a longer review of this hotel after a weeks holiday, have now scrapped that idea, as more reviews appeared. Contradicting each other, so making our review shorter. Hotel overall = ok, staff = good, food = poor, pool bar = scruffy, Pool (large children's pool) black coloured grout, Red room = very good, but pianist was out of room 40% of time, beach = very poor. In this hotels case, if you have higher standards it's poor, lower standards you would thinks it good. One thing for sure, we won't be back! SORRY.More
What a fantastic place
Have just returned from a two week holiday at this hotel. The whole holiday, from start to finish, was brilliant, and we thoroughly enjoyed our break there. We arrived around midnight after a smooth transfer from Larnaca airport. I had read one review prior to booking the holiday that complained that the transfer was two hours, which I wasn't too keen on, but even with two drop offs before us, we were at the hotel within one hour, so not quite sure who, or how that person had got to the hotel, but it definitely isn't as long as two hours. We were met with a friendly receptionist that checked us in quickly and efficiently, with cool towels and bubbly to greet us. I had contacted the hotel prior to the start of the holiday to arrange an upgrade to a room with a jacuzzi and our own sun beds on the terrace, so even with arranging the payment of that once we got there, it was still a smooth check in and we were in our room in no time. Rooms are very good overall, with a large, very comfortable bed and quite a bit of space, although the bathroom could have benefited from a bit more space allocated to it. There were bathrobes, slippers and flip flops provided in the room, and a bottle of wine, fruit, cheese and crackers waiting for us. The jacuzzi was brilliant and having your own sun beds was bliss. No fighting for the last one round the pool. It added to the feeling of complete relaxation The hotels biggest disappointment, but,to be fair, it's only one, is food. We were all inclusive, so it was the usual bun fight around the food dishes in the canteen style setting, no different than any other all inclusive hotel we have stayed at. Unfortunately, most of the food, if it was meant to be hot, was lukewarm at best. Such a shame, because the variety and quality was very good. Staff were friendly and helpful, always topping up drinks and clearing plates in a timely fashion . It's saving grace in the food department was their desserts, which were absolutely delicious and so many to choose from and such an array of fruits We had meals at the Red Room restaurant and Il Mare decks, which were sensational, and a real must. The food was outstanding in both restaurants and a lovely, relaxing atmosphere in both, with a pianist in the Red Room, and a violinist at Il Mare decks The Koi bar was a great place to chill and relax after your evening meal, with a very attentive and friendly barman. Again, in a review I read before arriving at the hotel, someone had said that if you are all inclusive you are not allowed in the Koi bar and are shoo'ed away by the bar staff and refused entry. We very clearly had all inclusive wrist bands on but we were made to feel nothing but very welcome in the bar every evening we were there, so, again, I really don't know who that person encountered. Overall, i thoroughly recommend this hotel. I would find it hard to imagine anyone not having a lovely, relaxing holiday here and leaving with great memories.More
Such a disappointment compared to last year!
We stayed at this hotel last year to which I left a great review and therefore made it very easy to rebook again for this year, how wrong I was ! Sadly this hotel in my opinion is now no better than a 3 star. Upon arrival we was welcomed back and was informed we had been upgraded to the suites which was a nice surprise, I feel now though that this was done as a sweetener because they knew how bad things had got. We decided to pay the extra for the jacuzzi on our balcony, after being filled up we noticed the bottom of the jacuzzi was incredibly dirty and stayed like that for the duration of our stay. We couldn't use the jacuzzi for 2 days purely because the staff had put it on too low a temperature setting that made it too cold to use. I complained to reception who insisted that 27 degrees is the perfect temperature for a hot tub, however I own a hot tub myself and even in warmer weather you still need to have it on at least 34 degrees for it to be comfortable to sit in and after I informed them of this fact they then sent someone up to adjust the temperature but it still took a day to get to the correct temperature so therefore 30€ wasted on a hot tub I couldn't use and no offer of a refund for this. Also we only had chlorine tablets put in the pool on the first day of the 9 we paid for and with the heat out there you can imagine the smell of the water after 7 days, it got so bad we decided not to use it anymore. The mini bar in the room is a paid bar even though it's stocked with all the food and drinks you get for free as an all inclusive guest which I feel is a bit of a rip off. Then the people that re stock the mini bar added things on to my bill which I actually hadn't had and wouldn't ever drink! This resulted in a heated argument at check out and only because I point blank refused to pay for drinks I hadn't had it was then taken off the final bill. This was also the case in my mothers room, charging her for wine she doesn't actually ever drink and charging her for drinking rum ? The restaurant is massively understaffed and although the waiting staff that are actually there are very friendly, it's clear they cannot cope with the amount of people staying at the hotel and consequently you are left waiting an extremely long time to order and receive your drinks. The clearing of plates from your table is at the best of times non existent and you could go through the whole meal and leave the table with plates stacked up before they are removed from the table. However some of the cooking staff are not so great, most nights they have a carvery of different meats, if you dare ask for more than one slice of meat you receive a huff and a disgusted look from the chef ! The food overall is not at all nice compared to last year and extremely repetitive and no where near as much choice as last year, some of the dishes are reheated from the previous night and we even experienced food that was actually off including mouldy potatoes, how is that possible? I feel that what they have decided to do is serve you up basic bad food so you go and book into the ala carte restaurants instead and pay even more money on top of what your all inclusive holiday has already cost you. A really think this is the plan because last year they had one ala carte and this year they had three ! Don't take a rocket scientist to work out that ingenious idea. Breakfast was average although again nowhere near as much choice as last year and the chef cooking the eggs seriously needs to go back to catering school! Every time she put fresh eggs into the pan she would leave her station to do something else and by the time she came back all the eggs had gone hard and the yolks were solid. So every morning I had to politely ask for softer eggs which was met with a frown and a grunt and even got asked one morning what's wrong with the eggs on the tray? To which I replied would you eat that? Nothing more was said and I was cooked 2 fresh properly fried eggs. I also think observing the hotel restaurant that because they have such a massive clientele now from the Russians that they can serve up anything they like because they'll eat anything that's free ! Sadly the ignorance and rudeness of the Russians do also ruin this resort and its such a shame such a nice hotel that once was has now resorted to being this bad purely because of these people. The adult pool which was a nice area away from the kids and a lovely warm inviting pool has now turned into a cold dirty pool! The temperature of the pool has definitely been turned down to save on cost and the pool itself is dirty with god knows what floating around in it and has black mould on all of the tiles in the pool. This clearly is not being looked after at all. Toilets in the main hotel are very dirty and not cleaned to a decent standard. The entertainment is very outdated and very 70's Cabaret, the only act worth watching is the comedian magician, he's a very funny guy and loves taking the rise out of the Russians. The Koi bar is a lovely area to sit in the evening but with a couple of disappointing factors, any drink you order from this bar must be paid for but there's nothing stopping you going over to the other bar and ordering exactly the same drinks for free ? Work that out ! Oh and if you want a coffee in the evening make sure you are seated in the pool bar area as the koi doesn't do tea or coffee and the pool bar refuse to serve you any hot drinks unless you are seated at their bar? I asked the staff about this and what difference it actually makes and the answer I got back was it makes no difference whatsoever because the waiting staff work both bars, this is a management decision and we have told them it's wrong but he refuses to change this rule. How can it be possible to get a coffee at one bar but you walk less than 100 yards and you won't be served? Madness! Overall a very disappointing holiday and one that sadly will not be repeated and I won't be recommending this hotel to anyone in fact I'll be advising to give it a wide birth. I could write more but my fingers are tired, such a shame this hotel really needs to step up if they want to get people coming year after year!More

The best staff of any Hotel ever
My wife and I have been visiting this Hotel for around 30 years , during that time we have also been to many others over the world but have never found any to compare with the polite friendly staff at the Miramare from reception, restaurant, pool attendants, bar staff, and room maids, all do an excellent job. A big thank you to you all for making our visit great as usual. Ozzie and LilMore
