Amazing Hotel for our Wedding!!!
We were Wed on the 30th Sept 2017 at Nissi Resort Hotel. I cannot thank the team enough. Marios, Caroline, Tassos and Tina you are all wonderful, thank you so much for our special day, we will never forget it!!! Every single moment was special and yet still really chilled. The food and the evening staff were gorgeous. I cannot recommend this hotel or our experience highly enough. Keep being fabulous! Mr & Mrs Lawrence. xxxxxMore
Beach suite bungalow no. 2
There are 30 beach suite bungalows and ours was the last but one! No problem we thought we will just get loads of exercise walking back and forth to the main hotel, which was exactly what we did. Unfortunately this suite is also rather remote and there was an incident from our neighbours in suite 1 where they had the noisiest party I have ever heard at 2.30 in the morning! When speaking to reception the next morning I was told to call security (10) if there were any further problems, which fortunately there wasn't as these truly awful people disappeared over-night. I know this was not the hotel's fault but I was surprised to find the hotel being used as a party resort. The hotel is really lovely, the food was very good and the staff were awesome. We are beach people and Nissi Beach even in October was very busy. We walked along the coastal path to Sandy Beach which was a bit quieter. We also took the bus a couple of times to other beaches and it is a good service with a flat fare of €1.50 for any journey.More
Mis-sold holiday - Make sure room Spec in documents to avoid disappointment
I was asked by my best friend to be a bridesmaid and accompany her on holiday, and wedding which took place at this resort. I travelled on my own due to my son being only 4 and starting school. When I booked the holiday, I did this direct with Thomas Cook, going by the same dates as some of the rest of the wedding party. I was asked on the phone whether I wanted a "sea view" or a "garden view" room, my response..."Who goes on holiday to see gardens?." I booked a sea view room but it was not on my documents however, as the agent basically said he can not guarantee, I did not think anything more of it..... How mistaken I was. In this Resort they have the main hotel, which has standard rooms looking out on to the sea, they then have garden rooms again standard looking over other garden rooms and they look like American Style motel rooms. They have modernized Beach Suites - Absolutely gorgeous/ Beach Bungalows again lovely and modern and with outstanding access to the Resorts Facilities. I however ended up in the Motel like room, outdated, and more near the main street than the actual resort facilities or beach. What annoyed me the most is that I paid for full board yet I am the furthest away from the hotel facilities, and Breakfast/Dinner was served in the main hotel. Yet lunch may as well have been served in the next resort it was that far. The restaurant where the lunch was served the staff were horrid and in all honesty it catered more for a half board person who was swapping dinner for lunch. I was also 5 months pregnant, so in 42 degrees, a waddle a good distance away was not the best. I asked the hotel if I could eat lunch at one of the 3 snack bars I passed on my trek to the lunch restaurant and they said no. I ended up not utilizing my full board and have raised a complaint with Thomas Cook. Funnily they said they can not prove I haven't eaten there.... seriously if I had eaten there I wouldn't be complaining!!! Thomas Cook also tried to move me closer to the restaurant. 5 doors from my current room. In all honesty the Garden rooms are not good for people with disabilities, the hills are extremely steep, and second floor rooms in garden rooms are only accessible by stairs and they are certainly not worth what I paid. £1600 I paid for everything, and I was definitely over charged. I think they should have separate paid grades for these rooms and they should be lower. As you do not get your money's worth. In all fairness my issue is with the Travel Agency Thomas Cook more than with the actual hotel. But before booking this hotel make sure you specify the type of room you have. Make sure it is in your documents and check at arrival where your room is, as many holiday goers for Thomas Cook had not been informed of the layout of the hotel resort and many were complaining about mis-sold rooms. The Rep Tom is no support and did not help me nor make me feel like an actual paying customer, he comes across as more happy to help the Hen/Stag Parties. I do not know whether this is a training issue or he doesn't know how to deal with customers. Get your monies worth. Avoid Full Board as it is pointless (Lunch is genuinely not worth it). On arrival, a porter should escort you to your room - I didn't, not that it bothers me however to some people this is stuff they like to know. Free Wifi - Not in Garden Rooms (More luck connecting with local bars) Sunbeds are 2.50 a time on the beach - in case anyone thinks private beach means anything Maids are lovely, they should be behind the reception desk - so friendly My Best Friends wedding was amazing and this resort definitely knows how to do a wedding I do not do package holidays often and the last time I did it was to Mexico (Absolutely amazing £865 All Inclusive 2 Weeks Aquamarina Hotel). For me to return to Nissi Beach Resort for a family holiday, I very much doubt it. I think Cyprus as a whole is expensive and I wont be going back.More

Thank you for such lovely sojourning at the hotel. We've been there for a week, upon arrival we've been met with a refreshing drink and later in the evening we've been invited for a welcoming party. At the reception managers were very hospitable and made their best to help us. Thanks a lot to Frank for such energetic animation team, warmest regards to all animation team, especially to Suzanna and Timo. Food is delicious, most of all we liked dinners. More
