The family-friendly Valamar Crystal counts a close-to-it-all setting, a relaxing pool set-up, and lots of things to do as highlights.
This place has clinched a seafront spot in a pine forest clearing. You can walk to the ragged shoreline in a few minutes, and the Roman town of Porec is just a bit further on.
The hotel is well geared up for families, with lots of activities and separate pools for children and adults. Décor is cool and contemporary – rooms come with beech furniture and brightly painted feature walls.

Perfect hotel and location, but......
This is indeed the perfect hotel and location. Set in a green, wooded area and a short walk to the sea, this is a great place to relax. The hotel staff are (mostly) very pleasant and the facilities pool, restaurant etc all to a good standard. Porec is a very interesting and attractive town, and the walk or mini-train to it has many family friendly activities in and around the waterfront. We went in August and I would have loved to come back again next year; however, there is a nightclub in a local hotel that plays very loud music until 5am on the weekends. We had to move rooms as a result and ended up in a new one facing the car park. I have seen other reviews, not just from this hotel, with similar experiences. Surely the local hoteliers, or Valamar which seems to own most of them, could sort this noise problem out? If they did, I and I'm sure others would be back like a shot!More

excellent weeks holiday a lovely hotel hotel
We just returned from a week at this lovely friendly hotel. There were just couple of niggles, the entertainment could have been better with only 3 nights of live entertainment in the week we were there ,and with it getting dark early we felt we had to stay in the hotel for the evenings.. The drinks in the hotel were expensive so we bought a bottle of gin and tonic which we had in our room from the local Spa ,and we hired a kettle from reception for £2 a day this kept costs down so we just bought a bottle of wine every evening with our meal .The good thing about the hotel was it was spotless and the food was wonderful at breakfast and lunch with plenty of choice ,but make sure you go in to dinner by 7,30 as the puddings get picked over. The staff were friendly and the rooms were spacious and kept wonderfully clean and the area around the hotel was so beautiful and quiet ,we did go at the end of the season and I have been told it gets very busy in the summer but it was idyllic for us .with just a 15 minute walk to Porec centre. We enjoyed it so much we are looking to go back next year.More
