    arrived at 2am, staff spoke poor english had to wait to be shown our apartment. Apartment a good size but very dated, 1 pan, 1 frying pan small cups for a coffee so ended up buying some, given remote for tv and air con but not shown how to use it. 3 of us in our party but only 2 chairs on smallest balcony ever. reported this and got extra chair and an ashtray replacement as the one in there was broken, one reception staff member was lovely but the others and the maintenance guy was rude, stayed for 2 weeks and in this time only saw the pool checked once. main pool steps were out of order the full 2 week with tape over and an inflatable there to say not to use, The pool bar staff are lovely especially dida she works very hard and is always pleasant. The food very nice and recommend john smiths for breakfast. Taxis rip you off wherever they can so walked most of the time as they pick and choose what to charge, lots of tat on sale wherever you go. Beach was really nice and sunbeds were cheap to hire. The main strip of sunny beach is blackpool with sun and full of fake stuff. The staff in shops and especially supermarkets rip the money out of your hand and have no customer service skills wat so ever.......bulgarians are rude and ignorant. Our room was cleaned daily by the nicest cleaner she couldnt do enough for you. Overall i wouldnt go back as bulgaria is not for me,

    Room was great had free Wi-Fi an tv an iron cooking facilities an even a washing machine in your room . Everything was so clean an a Sarah non noisy place to stay. But u are a short walk from lively or quiet. An at the hotel Annnette the member loos after you so well. She is the jewel in the hotels crown

    Me, my wife and 2 children (12 and 14) Have just come back after a wonderful 2 week break at Rose Village. After reading certain reviews we were a bit apprehensive but we needn't have worried. All the staff were great (ok the younger ones were a bit uninterested but hey ho, that kids for ya) From the wonderful lady on reception who greeted my wife every day with a big hug, to the lovely Dida behind the bar and all the cleaning staff were always attentive and happy to help. The location is perfect in my opinion, 30 mins walk left and your in the sunny beach strip, 30 mins right and your in Nessabar old town ( STUNNING !!!!) and 5 mins over the road and you have a fabulous beach. Lots of good bars and restaurants nearby and after visiting Tenerife 4 weeks before, it was nice to get value for money. 4 main meals with beer and soft drinks was normally 20-25 pounds. Didnt pay more than £1.50 for large beer and you can get a 2 litre bottle of beer cheaper than milk !!!! All in all for our 1st visit Bulgaria, we had an absolute ball and would defo recommend Rose Village. Met some lovely people andWe will be back next year for sure :)

    I was dubious, about Sunny Beach, about this accommodation. But we had a fabulous time, and loved our apartment overlooking the pool (A44). Everything is reasonably priced. We are a family of 5 and went self catering, but ate out most of the time. Food at Rose Village was nice. Bar staff friendly. One lovely friendly lady on reception - the younger ones not so friendly, with little if any English skills. Cleaning/fresh towels - no complaints whatsoever. Yes, you needed to get a sun bed early. But the wonderful beach is close by too. We either walked or got the mini train to Old & New Nessebar (lovely) or Sunny Beach Centre. 8 levs for over 7 years old, under, 4 levs. We also went to the AquaPark which was a great day out, 44l/22l. Unbeatable value for a family holiday. Sad to be home. Thanks Rose Village! :-)
    Second visit...wouldn’t rule out another.

    This was our 2nd holiday at the Rose Village and we’d definitely come again. We are a couple with a 2 year old and last visited when our daughter was 6 months old. We also had family and friends in the complex. Not much changed and there still isn’t baby changing facilities as far as we can find but that’s the rule for most places in the area. Also the lift doesn’t stop on a floor so you still have carry baggage/pushchairs down/up a small flight of stairs to access the lift. If your looking for luxury then this isn’t the place as it is a little rough round the edges but for the price it is more than adequate. The rooms are cleaned and beds made every day, the grounds and pools kept tidy and the area is brilliant if you want to get to sunny beach or Nessebar. (Pretty much in between the two) Couple of reasons for 4 out of 5. Sometimes we struggled to get sun beds by the main pool which had the small children’s pool. Most beds were taken by 8am when it says beds can’t be reserved until. The attached restaurant has changed its menu for the worse. There is very limited options for breakfast (can’t even get bacon & eggs on toast anymore). But there are lots of restaurants nearby and a Costa across the road. Overall a really nice, relaxing holiday for a great price.
