You might recognise these twin hotels – they star in ITV's Benidorm series. You'll have access to both places, so there's an array of pools, bars and restaurants to skip between.
Much of the TV comedy series, Benidorm, was filmed at these sister hotels. And with three pools and plenty of entertainment venues, it’s no wonder this place caught the location scout’s eye.
The Hotel Sol Pelicanos/Ocas is effectively two hotels in one, so you get double the benefits – the restaurants, snack and pool bars all come in pairs.

My Pals 50th
Just returned from a weeks break to the Benidorm fiesta, 11-18th November.didn’t actually stay at the pelicanos we got moved to the ocas building next door.. the hotel is very clean with great facilities.the maid came daily and replenished where necessary. The location of this site is excellent.its located close to bars shops and restaurants and also an indoor market.the beach can be reached within 5 mins .its not on the strip but you can get to the Morgan’s bar end in 2mins.the room had a fridge safe tv all the usual stuff but alas no kettle but it wasn’t a major issue for us.we went on a bed and breakfast basis.the choice of breakfast food was enormous and caters for all requirements.we stayed on the 9th floor with a great view of the pool area and beyond.there are no issues moving between floors as the lift is like a bullet from a gun ! Simply the best lift I’ve ever used, both of them! The storage is plentiful And you get 12 coat-hangers and 3 trouser hangers which in my view is quite a lot and came in very handy.the bathroom is a good size with a large shower which has a big shower head suspended from the ceiling and was a joy to use. id just point out that the majority of guests were adults but I’d assume that’s just because of the time of year and may not be suitable for families but I’d say away from the fiesta time it would be ideal ,it had a great pool area and a small amusement arcade inside also a small pool. We’re booking for next year soon And will be booking the ocas without doubt.More
Something needs to change.
Just back from a stay at Sol Pelicanos. Stayed here before but I must say the standard of food has gone downhill. The fresh fruit is tasteless. The choice of meals are varied but the quality is not good. The rooms are spotless. We shared a room for three people and we had three single beds. The entertainment in the bar at night is the same entertainment that was there when I visited five years ago and needs changed. We stayed all inclusive but when we went to the bar to receive our drinks we all had to be there because they would only serve us two drinks at a time, even though they cud see us seated a few feet from the bar and knew the three of us were there together. The bar men were quite rude about this. We heard while we were there the hotel is getting refurbished this year. Let's hope so because this hotel always was a special place to go. More

We have just come back from Benidorm on Wednesday after staying at the Sol Pelicanos/ Ocas. When we arrived I requested a wet room for my partner, we were given a room on the 6th floor in Ocas, the room was ok but no grab handles in the shower room so I requested a stool 3 times. I finally saw the Guest Hotel Manager, she was polite and said she would give us a room on the 3rd floor which had a wet room for disabled. This was ok again but my partner fell on the slippy floor when standing up to dry himself, and broke the seat. We then had a meeting with the managers and told them we were not happy with the hotel at all. My partner could not use a scooter in the hotel. Which made getting around very awkward. The snack bar closed on one of the last days and generally food not good at all. Why have ramps in the 2 hotels and then not be able to use them???.The entertainment was poor, no soap in the bathroom, just awful.More
Just had 10 nights half board.rooms great food great right by the strip, beach etc. Last night was the best.wednesday 15th November.in the old town, carnival and the fireworks display was brilliant.will be going back in June 2018.great pools in solpelicanosocas.would recommend.lovely hotel... Could not click to rate but all goodMore
This is my first and last visit to this hotel. Five of us booked four nights half board from Wednesday until this coming Sunday to celebrate the Fiestas. We missed our Wednesday evening meal due to our flights being changed, no fault of this hotel, but nonetheless. Thursday was the British fancy dress day and we were refused entrance to the dining hall as we were dressed up. Whilst I understand that they don't want a dining hall full of hens and stags, I feel that an exception should be made on this one day of the year. The final blow, we've just come for our second and final evening meal and have been stopped from using a water machine, for a glass of water. We were told only AI guests can use this and we'd have to buy a bottle of water. Quite frankly I find this disgusting, two meals out of four that we paid for and a mediocre breakfast, I would have thought a couple of glasses of water could have been had. Will not recommended this hotel to anybody and the only reason for two stars is that the daily maid service is excellent. More
