    Fantastic time at a very high quality resort. Beaches where great, seen Manta Rays about 10 foot into the sea.....shy creatures. food and drink where both excellent. The Asian restaurant was our favourite. highly likely we will go back
    Had a great stay at Riu Negril!

    Was a bit apprehensive after reading a few negative reviews, however all that disappeared after my stay at the Riu.. the room was clean and the mini bar well stocked. Enjoyed dining in the buffet restaurants- they had a wide variety of meal options. The jerk chicken from the Jerk Hut was fabulous! . The only negative was the large number of birds that flocked the outdoors of the restaurants especially during the days. The nightly entertainment presentations were well coordinated and enjoyable.. Overall stay was good.

    We were surprise at the level of customer service from the dining room staff to include the females from the entertainment dept. While on the beach we observed locals walking around selling other guest illegal substances, during our stay we have not seen a security personnel patrolling the beach area in an attempt to show some indication that we are safe.
    Not a palace but still had a great time

    The people are amazing and the service was very good. Loved Paul, the singing bartender, in the evenings at the Lobby Bar. We are used to the service and cleanliness of the palace but this resort was pretty good. It has everything you need just not the extras. The grounds aren't kept as clean as the palace and same with the pool so we spent our time in the sea and at the beach. BOB on the beach is really close to the water so it was easy to get drinks. I would recommend this resort if you are looking for more of a budget vacation but definitely go to the palace if you just can't live without the service.

    It was a nice trip the staff were friendly. The daily events were nice and entertaining the food was varied and appetizing. The rooms where clean, mini bar was well stocked all in all it was a fun experience for me and my friends.
