With a beachside location and ocean-front deck and pool, the Butterfly Beach has definitely been designed with relaxation in mind.
Impressive views are easy to come by at the Butterfly Beach – it’s bordered by impossibly white beaches and turquoise waters. Plus, a ten-minute walk will take you to the little village of Oistins.
The hotel’s interiors are smart and contemporary. Take the bedrooms – they’re dressed in confetti-coloured pastels, and come with extras like air-conditioning and balconies.

Me and my husband stayed for 6 days. It's a nice and comfortable hotel. Good value for money! Loved the beach and the food at the restaurant. Excellent location near Oistins and close to Accra beach. Will definitely go back next yearMore
Awesome time at the Butterfly beach hotel
We just stayed there a week of Oct. 8th to the 15th 2017, it was such a good time. It was very, very clean, safe, friendly great atmosphere and get location. we had a kitchenette, which we used all the time for breakfast and some lunches. but there was also a restaurant and bar right there as well. Everyone was soooo friendly and wanted to make your stay very welcomed and happy!!More
Lovely good value hotel
We have just returned from a weeks stay at the Butterfly. It is a good value hotel located about 15 mins walk from Oistins....(don’t miss the Friday night fish fry if you are there, great food and entertainment ). The hotel has a lovely pool , ideal for swimming laps when it’s quiet at about 12 metres long and. There is a nice bar with happy hours at 12 -1 and 5 -6 . We didn’t eat in the restaurant so I can’t comment on that , but the chips are good !....The staff are very kind and helpful and Deborah in the gift shop is a hoot ! I notice some people have commented about the road noise...yes it’s on the road but to be honest you can’t hear it when you are by the pool , in the bar or even in your room with the AC on so it’s not really a big deal . The beach is lovely and easily accessible - the waves are great fun too ! No hassle from vendors at any time . We enjoyed our trip on Cool Runnings and the $2 buses are fun If you want a great value break with easy access to the sea this is it Don’t worry about local building works or the road just enjoyMore
We stayed for a week at the end of October. The Butterfly ticked all our boxes - friendly staff, very clean, large room with a little kitchenette, which was so useful, we only ate out a couple of times. We like to travel regularly so being on a budget was perfect here. Food in the restaurant was great. Best of all it is right on the beach, which we had all to ourselves most days, as the hotel wasn’t busy that week. You can take sunbeds on to the beach yourselves at no cost, the sea is so warm and clear, just beautiful. We didn’t bother with the pool as the beach and sea was great. Two happy hours each day at the bar was good, nice rum punch. You can catch the local buses from the bus stop near the entrance; very regular and cheap to use. We walked to Massey supermarket (takes about 10 mins)and bussed it back as it was too hot to walk back with bags of shopping. We also walked to St Lawrence Gap partly along the road and partly along the beach past Sandles. That took about 20-30 mins. On the downside, there is nowhere really near to walk to I.e restaurants, shops except Breezers, a Chinese and a bar across the road, none of which we particularly liked. We wouldn’t want to walk far at night as it’s not well lit and the road is quite busy with cars driving fast past you. The hotel is having a refurbishment soon, so will be even nicer then. Totally recommended for a budget holiday in Barbados. More
Nice but needs some tlc
My daughter and I stayed for ten days at this little hotel for a half term break. It’s on a lovely beach quite small but very quiet. We had room 230 which I paid a little extra for and for the view we had it was definitely worth the extra. Most of the hotel staff are lovely, special mentions to Ricardo, John in the restaurant and the young lady in the shop who booked us a fabulous snorkelling trip with Neville. The food in the Reef was lovely. Personally we preferred the lunch menu so we ate at lunch time and gave it a miss in the evening. We spoke to lots of people that were on their umpteenth visit. I don’t think personally I will go back just because it’s a bit of a trek to get anywhere and it was a little bit shabby. I wish I had thought to take my driving licence in hindsight. More
