Holidays to Phuket Tri Trang let you experience Thailand's middle ground. You've got a pin-drop peaceful beach, easy access to famous sights, and electric nightlife just a stone's throw away.
Phuket Tri Trang is a happy-medium sort of place. It’s pretty and peaceful, consisting of little more than a sandy bay and a smattering of tropical greenery. That said, it’s just a 10-minute tuk tuk ride from Patong, one of Thailand’s most frenetic towns. Here, street food stalls line up by the dozen in front of party bars and dance clubs.
Tri Trang Beach curves in a horseshoe-shape along the luxurious Merlin Hotel Resort. The milky sands are separated from the property by a thick band of palm and casuarina trees. You’ll also find a string of rustic massage huts, where local women work out knots using traditional Thai reflexology. Bring a snorkel if you’re planning on paddling – the water is glass-clear, and the sea life and coral gardens are worth a look.
This part of Phuket is a great springboard for daytrips. The long tail boats that have graced a thousand postcards bob gently in the shallows of Tri Trang Beach, ready to take tourists to nearby bays and the famous Phi Phi islands.
