Can I bring a battery-powered mobility scooter or wheelchair onboard the river cruise ship?
Unfortunately, mobility scooters or wheelchairs can't be used onboard the ship.
When in port, our ships could be moored adjacent to other ships. Disembarking could therefore involve walking across gangplanks and decks of other ships and may include walking up and down flights of stairs. Our river cruises destinations include many places that have cobbled streets or uneven paving, or that are on a steep incline, which could cause difficulties for anyone with reduced mobility.
If you are unable to walk unaided up and down a flight of stairs, then a TUI River Cruise may not be suitable for you.
