Fancy joining the sightseers in the Catalonian capital? It’s just a 35-minute commute to Barcelona, where Gaudi’s Sagrada Familia and the Museo Picasso satisfy culture cravings. See Plaça Reial’s architecture in the Gothic Quarter, then find somewhere to rest your feet along La Rambla – the famous boulevard, which is filled with cafés. In the evening, nearby Girona is worth a visit. It’s big with fans of fine-dining, and the Lloret de Mar entertainment scene’s top-tier.
