A quirky hotel hidden in the streets of Santorini

This hotel has so much character! You could easily miss it when walking past but once you open the doors you are taken to a different world! A large shared seating area on the outside followed buy fairy light lit path which is surrounded by trees and traditional stone built rooms. Each room seems to have its own quirky atmosphere. Our room was large and consisted of a double and single bed, dressing table, hairdryer, dinner table, kitchen area. Fridge, cooker rings, kettle and a tv. Air-con and the safe were free which was a bonus. We had a small seating area outside although we didn’t feel comfortable using this regularly as it wasn’t very private (other rooms had more privacy) we also didn’t have anywhere to dry our clothes which made things a little tricky. We felt that the bathroom needed a few improvements it was lacking hooks. There was no where to hang towels or the shower head. Also there is no complementary room- we were not leaving the resort till 7pm and were told we could use the toilet to get changed in. As there is no shower around the smaller pool area this was a little tricky- luckily we were invited to use another guest room. We were kindly given extra towels and excess to the fringe ect though. The hotel doesn’t have its own pool but you can use the pool over the road or a larger pool at the top of the street. It is also a 2 minute walk to the beach. They also offer trips around the island for those who want to explore! And if all else fails they have the sweetest dogs . I would definitely recommend this hotel and I would happily stay here again. The rooms had everything you needed, they were cleaned regularly and the staff were very friendly!
Traditional, quirky, friendly perfect location. FRANKO & ZIZOU ❤️

We stayed here for two weeks end of July beginning August. The hotel grounds and rooms are traditional and quirky and I loved it. Angela and Luca are a lovely couple who will go out of their way to help. We had some wonderful trips with Luca for a fraction of the cost Tui charge and they will take you at the best times. Air con is in all the rooms and is free of charge there is also a safe. The room is also cleaned daily and towels changed if required which is great. We spent most days at the beach as it is a 2 minute walk. Each restaurant has its own part of the beach and as long as you buy drinks or eat lunch they are happy for you to use their umbrellas and very comfy beds free of charge all day. Drinks orders are taken at your beds and brought to you which was lovely. The only downside was a lack of hot water in first week no hook for shower head and limited cooking facilities but these are so minor it really wasn’t a massive issue for us. The hotel also has the two most lovely dogs Franko and Zizou who are so sweet and friendly. I would definitely stay here again
Fantastic location, fantastic hosts

Just got home from a week at Belair in Perissa. This hotel is perfectly placed a short walk from the beach, bars and restaurants. The room whilst basic was clean and comfortable, the fridge, air con and safe all welcome additions at no extra cost. The pool area was pretty and peaceful as an alternative to the beach. One of the best things about this hotel are the hosts- Angela and Luca who went out of their way to help organise trips and made us feel so welcome. If you have read other reviews you will be aware this hotel is not 5* luxury, but neither is it advertised as such. It is however a great base from which to explore a beautiful island - we would definitely recommend Belair.

Stayed here for a week in May 19. There were three of us, all ladies over 60, and we found that the owners, Luca and Angelina were perfect hosts. We shared a room which was more than adequate for us. The kitchen has bare minimum utensils but we weren’t cooking anyway so it didn't matter to us. Anything we asked for we got ie a mirror nearer to a plug, more hangers, extra blankets. The bathroom could have a better drainage system but a pair of flip flops solved that issue. The Belair isn’t a 5* hotel but it is clean friendly and perfectly situated. The pool is right opposite so it’s almost on site. Not many sun beds but then it’s a small hotel. Beer and soft drinks are very affordable at the pool. Would highly recommend this quirky hotel and would go back without hesitation.

Amazing family run hotel. Private from the beach but within 2 minute walking distance to an amazing black sand beach with beautiful views of the sun rise. The staff are extremely helpful with any problems and we were taken on a tour that is considerably cheaper that those offered by TUI by one of the hotel workers. Not to forget the amazing dog Franko who plays endlessly with the guests. Couldn’t have found a more peaceful and relaxing holiday for such a good price. Truly an amazing experience and all rooms come with AC which in the summer heat is a blessing.
