Are Marella Cruise excursions suitable for less-mobile passengers and wheelchair users?
Can I book more than one excursion in a day?
Where possible our website will allow you to book multiple excursions within one day. If your excursions would overlap you will be unable to book both.
Can I still book an excursion, if I am completing a Cruise & Stay package?
Yes. You can view our excursions for our holiday destinations through our website or our holiday extras page.
Can parents leave their children onboard while they go on an excursion?
Since there is no babysitting service onboard our ships, parents should always take their children with them when on excursions and never leave them behind on the ship.
Do I get a discount if I book my shore excursions pre-departure?
Click here to visit Marella Cruise Control to pre-book your excursions before you travel, as the price in advance won't be beaten onboard.
Do I need to contact anyone when I arrive to confirm my booking?
No, as long as you have your confirmation you won’t need to confirm again. That said it’s always a good idea to meet the Destination Services Team in case there is anything else they can help you with.
How do I pay for shore excursions onboard?
We'll charge all excursions to your on-board account.
How do you book shore excursions?
You can book shore excursions before travelling by visiting our website, where you'll find a full range of tours. If you book via a TUI Holiday Store, your Travel Advisor can also book your excursions for you. It's possible to book onboard, but tours fill up fast. To avoid disappointment, we recommend you plan in advance. Our Shore excursions usually go on sale 6 months prior to departure.
If I book an excursion online, will I receive an e-ticket or will a ticket be posted to me?
If you have booked an excursion online you’ll receive confirmation of your tour via email which you’ll require as proof that you have booked your excursion. Please take this with you.
For selected excursions you may be required to complete additional information, this will be provided to you onboard if necessary. Please ensure you read all the information relating to the tours you have chosen.
I’ve experienced a technical error loading the Shore Excursion website, what should I do?
You may be using an old browser or one that is not supported for our website. Our site is optimised to run on the following browsers

Please try switching to a different browser and reloading the page. Please note that we do not advise using Internet Explorer for browsing excursions.
What information is required to book an excursion?
In order to book an excursion with us, you'll need to have already completed your holiday booking.
You'll need your booking reference, cruise start date and lead passenger surname to view and pre book excursions via Marella Cruise Control, which you can access here.
When booking an excursion, do I need to provide my passport details?
In some cases, passport details are required before we can book your excursion for you. If you have booked an excursion where this is applicable, we'll contact you for your passport details. If you would prefer not to provide your passport details, unfortunately we cannot process the excursion booking.
Why can’t I see an excursion I know someone else is doing, I’ve done previously, or I saw when browsing?
Only excursions available for your specific cruise and have spaces are currently displayed on our website. We are constantly updating our excursion selection and only those tours will be shown online. Please always check with your Destination Services Team when onboard for last minute availability, changes or updates.
