Start your morning with a plate of goodies from the buffet restaurant, while chatting to the new pal you met at your yoga class the day before. The tables in the restaurants are big enough to share, so you can tuck into a meal as a family, or get to know other guests. As far as the food goes, expect dishes that are healthy and tasty in equal measure. Plus, most of the ingredients are sourced locally, so everything is super fresh – including fruit smoothies and griddle-hot pancakes and waffles. And if you’re watching what you eat, look no further than the WellFood® stations, where nutritious meals are whipped up right in front of you. They’re designed to give you a real energy boost that’ll set you up for the day.
Take time to let your breakfast go down and plan out your day in one of the relaxation zones. Each Robinson Club is in a sought-after, handpicked spot – whether it’s next to a picture-perfect stretch of beach, near a wildlife-filled nature reserve or beside a manicured golf course. They all feature plenty of places to chill. So grab your latest page-turner or pop in your headphones while you enjoy the view. Or if you’re not one for sitting still, you can grab a paddle and ball and practise your ping pong skills, or test your hand-eye coordination with a game of table football.
You can be as active or as chilled out as you like at a Robinson Club. Those with energy to burn have a whole host of activities to choose from. In fact, there are over 50 different sessions each week. These include everything from tennis lessons and surfing courses to archery and beach volleyball. Beyond that, you can show off your balance on the slackline, or take part in interval training classes in the fully-kitted out gym. Alternatively, take the pace down a notch with a core-strengthening pilates class. Little ones won’t be left out either – the ROBY kids’ club takes care of keeping your children busy with games and arts and crafts workshops. That means you’ll have time to do something for yourself – no excuses!
However you’ve spent your morning, we’re sure you’ll have worked up an appetite for lunch by the time the clock chimes two o’clock. Head back to the buffet restaurant and you’ll find a fresh selection of dishes. Or, for a change of scenery, grab a table in the poolside or beachfront eateries. Either way – lunch comes with a view. Local food is the theme, so if you’re at one of our clubs in Italy, freshly-baked pizzas and pasta dishes will be on the cards, while our Thai club majors in noodle and rice dishes that bring out the traditional flavours of the region. You won’t have to worry about finding something to eat if you’ve got allergies either – the chefs will point out the dishes you can eat, and if there’s nothing you fancy, they’ll cook something for you.
While some guests are happiest when they’re on the go from dusk til’ dawn, we know that for some people, holidays are all about getting some much needed R’n’R, and our WellFit® Spas have just the thing. They make winding down easy with an impressive menu of relaxing massages and pampering beauty treatments. Many of our Robinson Clubs come complete with Turkish hammams, Finnish saunas and steam rooms, too, meaning you can create your own little circuit that’ll get your blood pumping while you chill out. If you prefer, you can pick out a sunlounger in a shady spot around the pool until the sun goes down. A handful of our clubs have pools that are specifically reserved for chilling out. No ‘do not disturb sign’ necessary.
Every evening at our Robinson Clubs is themed, so make sure you check the ROBINSON App before you decide what to wear for the evening. For example, some of our Robinson Clubs host a White Party, where all of the guests are invited to dress up for the occasion. Once you’ve scrubbed up for the night, head to one of the bars for a pre-dinner cocktail. They’re freshly-shaken up at different bars around the grounds, and there’s always a cocktail of the day, which makes choosing a drink easy. You’ve got plenty of options when it comes to restaurants, too. Tuck into the themed offering at the buffet restaurant, or treat yourself to an à la carte meal. Depending on which club you’re at, you could be feasting on gourmet dishes, Moroccan specialities or Asian cuisine.
There’s no after-dinner curfew at our Robinson Clubs. In fact, it’s quite the opposite. Our teams pull out all of the stops with the evening entertainment. It starts off with a mini-disco for the kids, along with appearances from the Robinson Club mascot – a cute and cuddly seal. Later, you can expect shows that are designed to impress. The stages are filled with everything from classic West End musicals, like Mamma Mia, to extreme sports displays with professional stuntmen. But that’s not all. Our guests look forward to late night DJ sets and live music at the main bars. And, some clubs even have a nightclub, where you can dance until the early hours.
