Nai-Yang Beach holidays

Golden sands, island tours and turtle-spotting are all in store on a holiday to Nai Yang Beach in Phuket.

National Park status

Good-looking Nai Yang Beach forms part of the Sirinat National Park. So, along with the golden sands that unravel along this crescent-shaped stretch of coastline, it offers up rich pine forest, swampy mangroves, and turtle nesting sites. It's actually one of only two places in Phuket where turtles come to lay their eggs, so you’re in with a great chance of spotting one on holiday here.

Boat trips

Most of the hotels in Nai Yang Beach are really close to the sea, so it’s easy to get out on a boat and explore. Make tracks for the Similan Islands and you can spot monkeys swinging between the trees, before going diving among a garden of coral. Or, strap on a snorkel in Koh Waeo to have a nose at the turtles, multi-coloured fish and eerie shipwreck beneath the waves.

Convenient location

Nai Yang’s flawless beach and laidback atmosphere would have you believe you’re in the middle of nowhere. But it’s actually as close to the airport as you can get. Just 10 minutes’ drive lands you at the door of the departure lounge – ideal if you want to minimise your time travelling and maximise your time in the sun.
