Morocco specialises in crimson-coloured beaches and historic temples.
Where we sail in Morocco
When it comes to sun-drenched holidays, Morocco’s a top contender. Down on the coast, you’ll find a mix of ancient, maze-like souks, super-sized mosques and mile after mile of red-sand beach. Our cruises to Morocco stop off in a pair of the country’s standout waterfront cities – Agadir and Casablanca. We sail to both between November and March, when the temperatures average out at a comfortable 15oC. Plus, Morocco’s a stop on our Canary Island itineraries, so you’ll be able to visit Tenerife, Lanzarote and La Palma, too.
Sprawling souks and magnificent mosques
Casablanca is Morocco’s biggest city, so it’s no surprise that it comes with an impressive collection of sights to see. You’ll be able to spot its headliner, the Hassan II Mosque, from the deck of your ship. It’s the fifth largest mosque in the world, and sits on the waterfront near the port. And, in the city centre, you can wander around lively bazaars for souvenir tea and scented oil sets. Down in Agadir, you can browse for silver jewellery in the Grand Souk. Then, soak up some sun on the city’s three-kilometre-long beach.
