Where we sail in Trinidad and Tobago
You’ll find the islands of Trinidad and Tobago 100 miles off the northern coast of Venezuela. Our cruises focus on the smaller of the two – Tobago. You’ll dock in the capital city of Scarborough, where over 500 years of the island’s colonial history’s on full display. Colourful, European-looking houses line up along the streets, which are watched over by a preserved hilltop fort. The city’s a 30-minute journey from one of the island’s most popular sandy spots – Pigeon Point. Here, bubblegum-blue water, snow-white sands and the island’s 25oC average heat create the perfect recipe for sunbathing.
Emerald interior
Tobago takes full advantage of its Caribbean postcode, offering up a catalogue of picturesque beaches for you to sprawl out on. But there are plenty of other natural scenes to explore, too. The island’s home to one of the world’s oldest nature parks – the Roxborough Rainforest Reserve. The land here’s been protected since 1776 – the same year the United States of America was formed. During a stroll along some of its trails, you could meet some of Tobago’s native hummingbirds, as well as go for a dip in the plunge pools around Argyle Falls – a 175-foot-tall secluded waterfall.

Port of call in Trinidad and Tobago
Scarborough
A bustling city seeped in history, Tobago’s capital offers up a snapshot of days gone by. Sprawled over the hillside, it’s overlooked by the Fort King George, a 17th-century hideout that sits proudly at the summit. Wander through the town to Upper Scarborough and take a look at the House of Assembly – it’s one of the best examples of Georgian architecture in the Caribbean.
