Cruises to Dominica give you the Caribbean at its most adventurous.
Where we sail in Dominica
Dominica certainly earns its Nature Island nickname. It breaks the Caribbean mould with its lack of tourists and mountainous appearance. Here, white-sand beaches are replaced by boiling lakes, steaming volcanoes and misty hot springs. There’s no international airport on the isle, which means it’s perfect for visiting on a Caribbean cruise. Our Dominica cruises dock in the capital, Roseau, where colourful timber houses are fitted with European-style porticoes and verandas. The island’s tiny, too, so it’s easy to explore.
The Great Outdoors
In Dominica, you can get stuck into everything from hiking to diving. Its interior’s blanketed with thick rainforest, which gives way to plunging waterfalls, lakes and gorges. Morne Trois Pitons National Park’s home to the most famous spot – the Boiling Lake. If you fancy taking a dip, meanwhile, head out on a catamaran trip. There’s a good chance you’ll spot dolphins and whales in the waters off the coast. Sperm whale sightings are highest between November and March. And our Dominica cruises set sail from October to April.

Facts about Dominica
Port of call in Dominica
Roseau
Known as the island of waterfalls, Dominica is as green as it is unspoilt. Fairly off the tourist trail, this exotic isle is a paradise for nature lovers. In fact, it’s one of the Caribbean hotspots for rainforest trekking. And of course, it’s got some superb beaches. Not the snow-white variety you’d expect, but dramatic volcanic sweeps and secluded coves hidden by greenery.
