Our cruises to Antigua sail you to over 300 beaches with waters almost too blue to be true.
Where we sail in Antigua
It should come as no surprise that Antigua’s beaches are its main calling card. The locals claim to have a beach for every day of the year – there are over 360 of them fringing this Caribbean island. Our cruises dock in St John’s, the capital of Antigua and Barbuda. It’s home to pretty creole buildings painted in ice-cream-pale shades. And there’s the Antigua and Barbuda Museum, which catalogues the island’s history. Fort James and Deep Bay are the nearest beaches to St John’s and line up moon-white sand and teal-coloured water.
Perfect weather for sunbathing
The Caribbean climate means bucket-and-spade days are almost guaranteed. Year-round, the temperature hovers between 28°C and 31°C, so there’s not a cold time to visit. The island’s low season is from May to November, when there’s a higher chance of rain. And the months between December and April have the best weather, but attract the most sun worshippers. If you want to do something more active than sunbathing, try visiting Great Bird Island – it's great snorkelling territory. Or hit the shops in St John’s for local artwork and handmade clothes.

Facts about Antigua
Port of call in Antigua
St John's
If you’re a big fan of the beach, prepare to lose your heart to this place. Antiguans like to boast they have a different one for every day of the year. Without doubt, porcelain, palm-fringed sands and still turquoise waters are the star of this island show. But that’s not all Antigua’s got to boast about.
