This two-and-a-half-hour tour walks you through some of Bamberg’s old town centre and onto the Schlenkerla brewery. It’s one of the oldest in the city, and is known for its smoked beers. You’ll get to try one while you’re there. There’ll be some more walking afterwards. Have the camera handy for snaps of Bamberg’s impressive cathedral, as well as its river which is lined by half-timbered buildings. Bamberg’s old town is UNESCO-protected and has lots of Medieval and Gothic churches, houses and market squares stashed away around every corner.
