Winzerexpress & Siegfried’s Mechanical Music Cabinet

This excursion is charming from the get-go. First, the guide will meet you to make the walk from the port to catch the Winzerexpress. This land train will take you on a 15-minute journey through Rudesheim’s old town, which is brimming with half-timbered houses, restaurants and bars. Your ride will end at Siegfried’s Mechanical Music Cabinet – a museum dedicated to mechanical musical instruments. You can expect a musical medley coming from music boxes, giant theatre organs and phonographs – most of which date back centuries. After your guided tour, you’ll head down Drosselgasse – the town’s main artery. This place is packed with dinky wine taverns and you’ll dip into one for a quick tasting.
