Today’s tour hones in on Rudesheim’s world-famous grapes. This tiny town is a big player in German wine production, with its borders hemmed by vineyard after vineyard. First, you’ll board the Winzerexpress mini-train for a guided ride through the storybook-like old town. Then, the majority of the day will be spent popping into wineries for tastings. Make sure to quaff the local Riesling – the white grape variety originated from this very region. You’ll stop at three in total, before making the walk back to the ship.
