GETTING TO AND FROM THE AIRPORT
- Frankfurt Airport is just under 12 kilometres from Frankfurt city centre.
- You’ll want to head east on B43 first, then take B44 into the centre.
- The journey takes about 20 minutes.
- There are several buses that can take you from Frankfurt Airport to the city centre – the most convenient route is number 61.
- You’ll find bus stops at the ground level of Terminal 1 and second level of Terminal 2.
- Buses leave every 20 minutes, and the journey takes around half an hour. Tickets cost around 5 euros each way, and you can buy them onboard.
- Taxis are available from outside the first level of Terminal 1 and the ground level of Terminal 2.
- It takes about 20 minutes to reach Frankfurt city centre by taxi, and the average fare is about 30 euros.
