Grab your passport and sunglasses – it’s time to go on holiday again. We’ve been working hard behind the scenes to welcome you back to some of our favourite European destinations. Even better, our Holiday Promise means you can book a break with confidence. Read on to find out where we’ll be flying to from July 11th…
The world-famous party scene is just the start of what’s on offer in Ibiza. Away from the dance floors and beachfront clubs of San Antonio, this Balearic Island has a quieter side. Ibiza Town, the island’s capital, has an old quarter that’s been given UNESCO World Heritage Site status. Head to the top of the Medieval walls surrounding the ancient settlement for picture-perfect views of the Mediterranean Sea. There’s the long, half-moon-shaped beach in the quiet resort of Cala Llonga, which is sheltered by pine trees. Or, try Playa d’en Bossa. This spot lines up a waterpark and family-friendly pubs, and it’s home to the longest beach in Ibiza.

Holidays to Majorca are a summer holiday staple, so we’re thrilled to be heading back to this Balearic beauty. And, the biggest island in the Balearics has plenty to show off. The capital, Palma, is the ideal spot for a city and beach break rolled into one. Alongside the museums and the huge cathedral are sandy beaches and a seafront promenade. But, if you’d rather stick to your sunlounger, there are plenty of resorts in Majorca that are perfect for just lying back and working on your tan. If you’re travelling with little ones, head towards Sa Coma on the island’s east coast for a Blue Flag beach and restaurants with kid-friendly menus. Meanwhile, Ca’n Picafort on the north coast has a seafront lined with bars and eateries for when you need a break from the sun.

Yep, the Canary Islands are also on our list. While they make a great winter getaway thanks to their year-round sun, temperatures reach sweltering heights in the summer. And, Tenerife in particular has been a favourite of British holidaymakers for years. Holidays here are made up of building sandcastles on sandy beaches, trying your hand at watersports, and sipping cocktails at seafront bars. Plus, you can take a trip to Mount Teide, the world’s third largest volcano. Visit at night for some world-class stargazing opportunities.

What does Lanzarote do best? Beaches. There are sandy spots across the island, and some make their mark with sweeping stretches of black sand. There are plenty of resorts to pick from, too. Puerto del Carmen, which was once a fishing village, is now a busy seaside resort packed with bars, restaurants and clubs. Playa de los Pocillos is a more laidback option, and it’s great for families. Playa Blanca’s the jewel in the island’s crown – it’s got a pretty marina filled with cocktail bars and sophisticated dining spots.
