Zanzibar is a tropical paradise off the coast of Tanzania, where you can relax on some of Africa's most beautiful beaches. The island is known for its crystal-clear water, ideal for snorkelling and diving among colourful coral reefs. Stone Town, the historic capital, takes you through narrow alleyways full of Arabic, Persian and African influences. You'll discover vibrant markets where the scent of spices greets you, as Zanzibar is not called the 'Spice Island' for nothing. Visit a spice plantation and taste the authentic flavours of cinnamon, cloves and vanilla. The local people welcome you with open arms and are happy to share their Swahili culture. Zanzibar combines pure relaxation with fascinating culture and adventure.

- Your passport details are required for this tour and are essential for the domestic flights Zanzibar – Selous - Zanzibar.
These details must be provided at least 4 weeks prior to departure and can be shared either via your travel agent or by contacting us directly using the contact details available on our website. - We recommend bringing a soft duffel bag (max. 15 kg) for the safari, due to transport in 4x4 vehicles and the domestic flight. If you are staying in the same beach hotel in Zanzibar before and after the safari, you can leave part of your luggage there.
- During the rainy season (1 April – 1 June), weather conditions may prevent access to the airstrip in Selous. In such cases, an alternative solution will be arranged, such as rerouting flights via Dar es Salaam.
