Costa Rica in a nutshell: Tortuguero, La Fortuna & Monteverde

Leave the bustling capital behind and set off to discover Costa Ricas wild side (early pick-up at around 6:00 am in a shared transfer). On the way youll enjoy an energizing breakfast before hopping on a ferry that will take you to the lodge, hidden in the tropical rainforest. Embrace the laid-back and peaceful vibes with eye-catching surrounding scenery. After lunch, youll head out with your guide for an expedition through Tortugueros winding canals. Explore lagoons and hidden creeks, getting closer and closer to the local wildlife. Head back to your accommodation to savour dinner and get some well-deserved rest.

Wake up to a tasty breakfast to then take an adventurous nature walk through the private tropical trails of the lodge. Your guide will take you to the best spots where you can get up close and admire the local wildlife such as iguanas, colourful parrots and curious monkeys.Get to know more about the local vegetation while you soak up all the natural scenery. After lunch in the lodge, youll visit the cosy little village of Tortuguero. Friendly locals and a happy-go-lucky atmosphere are what best describe this bohemian town. Embracing Costa Ricas Pura Vida is second nature here. Head back to your cosy lodge for the night.

Its time to say hasta luego to Tortuguero. Sabour one last breakfast at the lodge before taking a transfer to Guapiles.
