Stockholm and the nature of southern Sweden

A city set on Sweden’s Baltic Sea, Kalmar is characterised by its stunning Renaissance-style castle. The UNESCO-listed Falun Mine is the main draw here, offering a museum and underground tours at what was once the world’s largest copper mine. The city itself is home to an excellent museum, and the Carl Larsson-gården, set at the former home of the Swedish artist, is worth a stop too. Falun is also the gateway to the region of Dalarna where you'll find picturesque nature, rich tradition and countless activities.
