This walking tour takes in some of northwest Tenerife's greatest hits. First up is the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Teide National Park. The volcanic landscape will make you feel like you're hiking on another planet and there's plenty of stops to take in the wild geology and nature of the area. Then, head to the coast to see Garachico, once one of the island's wealthiest ports until a volcanic eruption in 1706. You'll see the natural rock pools formed by the lava flows that now make it one of the Island's prettiest ports. After a tour here, you'll cross the rugged Teno Massif Mountain range to reach the tiny village of Masca. Set snug in the side of the mountain, this pocket-sized village is worth the trek to see its spectacular gorges.
