The tour begins at Trajan's Column and continues along Via dei Fori Imperiali, offering sweeping views of the Roman Forum, once the political and commercial heart of the Roman Empire. Passing the Forums of Caesar and Augustus, you'll arrive at the Colosseum. Guests who select the Arena Floor options will step onto the reconstructed arena itself, access areas reopened after more than 40 years, and view recently uncovered ancient graffiti. Guests choosing the options without Arena Floor will explore the Colosseum interior and upper levels. Underground areas are not included.

The tour starts on the platform directly in front of Trajan's Column. Trajan's Column (~30 m high with engravings) is located on Via dei Fori Imperiali next to Piazza Venezia. When standing right in front and facing the Victor Emmanuel II Monument (a.k.a. the "Wedding Cake"), it's directly to the left across the street. In the summer, your tour coordinator will be waiting there wearing a blue polo shirt with the City Wonders logo printed on it, and in the winter, a blue jacket of the same design.
