On the way to the glacier you will be able to visit Seljalandsfoss waterfall as well as Skogafoss. Both of them are among the better-known waterfalls in Iceland, and when you see them you will know why! Don´t forget to walk behind Seljalandsfoss to snap some amazing pictures.
This tour offers the opportunity to hike the amazing glacial tongue from Sólheimajökull glacier.
Once you arrive, your guide will provide you with all the tools you will need: ice axes, crampons and safety lines. Then it is time to head to the glacier, you will have time to gear on with your crampons and the hike starts!
Witness some breathtaking panoramic views, as well as crevasses, ridges and even an ice wall where you will have an introduction to ice climbing and will be able to experience it first hand.
Finally, you will head back to Reykjavík where you will be dropped off for a good night´s sleep!
