Elaphite Islands

There are more than 1,000 islands in Croatia – but few are more beautiful than the 13 in the Elaphite Islands. On this full day island-hopping excursion you'll visit the two largest – Lopud and Sipan – and explore these oases of scented citrus plantations, pine-clad hills and sandy beaches.

After pick-up at your hotel, we'll head for Gruz port to hop on a boat and sail to Lopud. The second largest island in the archipelago is car-free and mostly covered in thick woodlands, among which can be found long-abandoned chapels. You'll have free time to wander around the picturesque old harbour or drop into the Franciscan monastery.

We'll then sail to Sipan, the largest of the islands, for a lunch of either fish or chicken. It used to be the summer playground of Dubrovnik aristocrats, and palatial villas in various states of repair can be spotted. Stroll the promenade under gaze of locals playing cards in cafeterias or knitting in porches.
