They focus on enhancing cetacean wellbeing by promoting natural and social behaviours, ensuring specialised veterinary care, encouraging the animals' autonomy within their environment, and supporting education and conservation efforts.The standards strictly prohibit breeding for commercial purposes, the use of behavioural drugs, the capture of wild cetaceans and food deprivation techniques, among other measures.
A pier fee of MXN $200 per person for the catamaran trip will be charged during check-in
Women under 5 months pregnant may only participate in the Dolphin Encounter if accompanied by another paying adult, and must sign a liability waiver
Children between 1.20m and 1.39m must be accompanied by an adult for dolphin interactions, while children 1.40m and taller may participate in dolphin interactions on their own
Children are considered from 6 to 12 years old, adults are from 13 years and up and Infants aged 1 to 5 years can participate free of charge when accompanied by a paying adult
The use of suncream and tanning products is not allowed during the dolphins programs
Jewellery or accessories that can easily come off are not allowed during the dolphin program
Electronic devices are not allowed during the dolphin program
In accordance with Article 60 of the Q. Roo Law, a state tax (ISEPAAA) of MX$50 per person (ages 6 and up) must be paid at check-in for activities involving dolphins
We recommend bringing cash for buying photos and souvenirs
Guests with a history of heart conditions, asthma, diabetes, epilepsy, use of heart medication, or any other major medical condition should not participate
Guests are advised to consider their physical condition and medical history when determining if this activity is suitable for them, those with concerns should consult their doctor before participating in any strenuous activity
Children must be supervised by an adult (over 18 years) at all time
