Relax in the goodness of the geothermal waters of the Secret Lagoon, the oldest pool in Iceland. Known to locals as the ‘Gamla Laugin’ meaning old pool, it was constructed in 1891 and is fed by naturally occurring hot springs.
Ideally located on the popular Golden Circle route, a stop here is definitely worthwhile whatever the season. Soak in the blissful hot waters which are maintained at 30/40 °C, lovely to experience at any time of year but especially enchanting on an icy cold day!

Facilities do not go amiss here and there are lockers, changing rooms, showers, plus a bar, eating areas, and free parking. There is also an outdoor terrace area and charming poolside pathways If you want to take a stroll to take some spectacular photos. You cannot afford to miss this hidden gem!
