Afternoon Tea in London: tours and tickets

Afternoon Tea in London cruises are all about seeing the city from the river. Whether you’re gliding past Tower Bridge on a daytime sailing, settling in for a quintessentially British afternoon tea with sandwiches and scones, or drifting along in the evening with canapés and music, the river gives you a generous, wide‑open view of the capital. Big Ben, St Paul’s and the South Bank appear one after another, each with its own story, and being on the water lets you see them from a perspective you don’t get at street level.

It’s a relaxed way to see London’s highlights, with tasty food options to suit everyone and views that shift as you move through the heart of the city. You can head up to the open deck, stay cosy inside or just watch the river catch the light as you cruise along. Drinks are available on board, so you can raise a glass as the skyline rolls by. Whether you opt for brunch, tea or dinner, our Afternoon Tea in London cruises give you a moment in the city that’s worth slowing down for.

Our river cruise was with the afternoon tea. The whole experience was fantastic, a relaxing cruise down the river away from the hustle and bustle of the streets. Our tea was a treat. A fine selection of teas, very good and tasty food all well presented. The staff were very attentive and helpful. Our guide (Brendan) was excellent providing lots of information throughout the cruise.

The cruise was good. We went up to the Houses of Parliament, which not many boats are allowed to do. Our guide Brendan was very knowledgeable and the staff serving the afternoon tea were lovely. The afternoon was really good too

The overall experience was good for my friend and myself. I am an older lady who bakes very successfully, but have never got the hang of making scones. I can now make them, and they turn out very well. I had a lady of 26 years with me who has learning difficulties. She had a great time her scones were perfect. The instructor allowed her extra time without making a big thing of it. Thank you. I did feel it was expensive, but worth it for both of us.
