The tour starts by giving you a general perspective of the capital with its highlights, main avenues and squares. Then you'll head to the historical quarter, where monuments classified as World Heritage take you back to the time of the Discoveries – the Belém Tower and the Jerónimos Monastery. Belém also has some of the most visited museums in the country, like the Coach Museum. And don't forget to taste the Belém cakes to find out why they're so popular. The free walking tour operates Tuesday to Saturday at Belém Stop 10 at 11:30 am. Look for the guide in a yellow polo shirt with a yellow umbrella. Schedules are subject to change; please check the latest times before joining
