Download an audio-guided driving tour from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon West Rim, the closest and most accessible area for viewing the canyon.

The drive takes around 2.5 hours each way. As you travel through the desert, the audio guide shares stories and insights into the canyon's geology, wildlife and the people connected to this landscape. Along the route, you can also include stops at Hoover Dam, Red Rock Canyon with its scenic viewpoints, as well as Guano Point and Eagle Point at the West Rim.

The route from the Strip to Grand Canyon West Rim including Hoover Dam, is a 266-mile return trip. Expect to spend a full day visiting and exploring Grand Canyon West and Hoover Dam
The route from the Strip to Hoover Dam is an 80-mile return trip. Allow a half day – with more time to explore inside Hoover Dam or time at Lake Mead or Boulder City
The route from the Strip to Red Rock Canyon is around 60 miles round trip. Allow a couple of hours for the Scenic Drive, extra if you plan on hiking
