Northern Delights Tour with La Graciosa

It's northern Lanzarote's time to shine on this full-day tour. First up is a poke around LagOmar, an architectural masterpiece co-designed by the island's favourite artist, Cesar Manrique. Then, you'll hop across to the unspoilt island of La Graciosa. After lunch, you'll have some free time to explore, before heading back to Lanzarote just in time for photos and great views at Mirador del Rio.

I love La Graciosa catamaran tour

Graceful by name and appearance, La Graciosa is the ‘other' Canary island – one that few ever visit. Lying just a kilometre north of Lanzarote, it's like a different world – there are no cars, so no need for paved roads. And this luxury catamaran cruise is the ideal opportunity to get to know this rustic volcanic island.Board the ferry and cross the El Rio Strait over to the sleepy village of Caleta del Sebo, the larger of the island's two settlements. Explore it at your own pace or with your guide. Next, jump aboard the catamaran – where you'll be handed a mojito – and glide past the island's rugged coastline. You'll head near Playa Francesa beach, which lies in the shadow of the Amarilla volcano, where you'll dive into snorkelling, kayaking, and soaking up the views. Meanwhile, back on board, you'll be served a lunch of paella, washed down with cool drinks. Afterwards, you can take in the views from the deck before catching the ferry back to Lanzarote.

La Graciosa

A short ferry ride from Lanzarote feels like stepping into another reality at La Graciosa. With no paved roads, few cars and a landscape shaped by volcanic hills and golden beaches, this tiny island moves at a slower pace. Part of the Chinijo Archipelago Natural Park, it offers a quieter side of the Canaries, where turquoise waters, sandy tracks and wide open scenery take centre stage.

You can spend your day cycling between secluded beaches, hiking volcanic trails or swimming in crystal clear waters along the coast. Playa de las Conchas is a favourite for its wild beauty, while boat trips reveal hidden coves and dramatic coastal views. La Graciosa was officially recognised as the eighth inhabited Canary Island in 2018, despite having been home to a small community for generations.

Easy to book with TUI rep at hotel, extremely helpful. Coach arrived on time. Guide was great, explaining about lots of places of interest on route. Time at market perfect. Ferry interesting - rough seas but fun!!! Short tour by guide on arrival at Graciosa. Lunch on a converted ferry very filling and drinks included. Then time to look around, a swim in the sea and ice cream for us before returning home to hotel. An excellent day out.

A bit too long at the market-maybe if the weather had been better we would have enjoyed the town and market a bit more.Visit to La Graciosa was great and glad we got to the island in rough seas. Lunch was very well organised and the guide (the Frenchman!) was excellent - helpful and cheerful!
