Kintamani and waterfalls full-day guided tour with barong dance show

Your first stop is Batubulan, a region renowned for its skilled stone carvers. Here, you'll be treated to the lively and thrilling Barong and Kris dance, which tells the tale of the eternal struggle between good and evil, drawn from the Hindu epic Mahabharata.

After the performance, your journey continues northeast, offering a diverse cross-section of Bali's landscape, from the palm-dotted coasts of the lowlands to the majestic highlands. You'll pass through the legendary village known for its silver and goldsmiths, as well as the famous village of wood carvers. Here, you have the opportunity to watch artisans meticulously craft intricate designs from various types of wood. If you fancy a closer look, don’t hesitate to let your guide or driver know.

Next on your itinerary is Tirta Empul, revered for its holy water that has attracted Balinese worshippers for over a millennium. A natural spring-fed pool adorned with traditional Balinese designs awaits you there. This 11th-century complex is steeped in history and culture.

Then, head to Kintamani, where you can admire the awe-inspiring views of Mount Batur and the striking black lava trails that flow from its peak into the valley below. The crater is considered sacred, housing a chapel dedicated to the fertility goddess at its summit.

On your return journey, you'll make a stop in Tegalalang to see the beautiful rice terraces. Your final visit will be to the impressive Tegenungan Waterfalls.
