Albufeira is a city, located in the district of Faro, in the southernmost Portuguese region of the Algarve. The city, which used to be an out-port of the maritime fishery in the past became an important tourist destination due to its beaches characterized by golden sand, the stunning cliffs, and the crystalline water.
