Things to do in Costa Dorada

Spain’s Costa Dorada (Golden Coast) is perhaps mainland Spain’s most prized stretch of beach. Running from just north of Valencia up to Barcelona, the Costa Dorada is filled with beach resorts and tourists looking to take advantage of the warm, sunny days and sandy beaches with shallow, tame waters. In the southwest of the region, you can admire the impressive Río Ebro as it meets the magnificent Mediterranean with its green wetlands. In additional to relaxing on the beach, the magnificent Roman ruins at Tarragona and the inland towns of Reus and Sitges are definitely worth visiting on any trip to Catalonia’s Costa Dorada!
