If you enjoyed Star Wars Weekends before, this will rock your galactic world…
Star Wars Launch Bay
The Animation Courtyard in Disney’s Hollywood Studios is being turned into the hub of all things Star Wars. Showcasing everything from the entire Star Wars saga, it packs in galleries of film memorabilia, exclusive footage of cast members and character interactions. You can play new video games, tour giant replicas of artefacts and buy exclusive Star Wars merchandise including original artwork and collectors items.
Train to be a Jedi
If you’ve ever been to a Star Wars Weekend, you’ll know all about Jedi Training. This time it’s bigger and better, incorporating characters and villains from Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Little ones will get the chance to train like a true Jedi and battle Darth Vadar in a secret temple. Watch out for the First Order Stormtroopers who will be patrolling the park on the hunt for rebels.
NEW Star Wars ride revamps
Star Tours – The Adventures Continues will incorporate new characters and adventures from Star Wars: The Force Awakens including the new planet, Jakku. Check out the preview below…
‘Symphony in the Stars’ fireworks show
Disney do fireworks like no other, so when Star Wars is involved you know it’s going to be out of this world. The galactic spectacle will combine dazzling Star Wars-themed fireworks and light shows set to memorable music from throughout the saga.
Galatic food and beverages
It wouldn’t be a proper Star Wars experience if you couldn’t tuck into genuine galactic food and drinks. You can feast on Blue Milk Panna Cotta, Padawan Limeade, BB-8 Lemon and Buttercream cupcakes and kids can enjoy a Han Solo souvenir meal. There will also be a dessert party during the fireworks show where you can try themed desserts and special drinks served in a Chewbacca stein.
An entire Star Wars land
If that’s not enough, Disney have announced plans for a dedicated Star Wars land which will start being built next year. The mini universe will encompass an epic 14 acres and will include two major new rides and a Star Wars themed dining experience.
