22.02.22 – <\/strong>Singer\/songwriter, TV personality and proud dad Peter Andre took to the slopes with wife Emily and all four children on a Crystal Ski Holiday in Borovets, Bulgaria this half term.<\/em><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The family first skied in Courchevel as part of their reality show, Meet the Andres, and it\u2019s fast become a passion.\u00a0 Youngest son Theo, aged five, took his first ski run with the rest of the family whilst eight-year-old Millie relished getting back on the slopes.\u00a0 Big brother and sister Junior, 16 and Princess, 14, looked like budding professionals and the entire family enjoyed spending time together in the invigorating mountains of Borovets.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u201cI had no idea Bulgaria is a ski destination and it\u2019s been wonderful,\u201d said Peter. \u201cWe were originally going to France, but entry requirements meant we couldn\u2019t as Junior wasn\u2019t able to get his second vaccination in time.\u00a0 We had to find an alternative and I\u2019m so grateful we did.\u00a0 Bulgaria has been amazing \u2013 the people, the food, the place, and of course, the skiing. We are definitely coming back.\u201d<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

As well as skiing, the family have been taking advantage of everything on offer in the resort from horse riding to tobogganing, and they also enjoyed a Valentine\u2019s Day meal together.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Snow holidays are a far cry from the popular entertainer\u2019s childhood holidays with his parents, sister and four brothers to Cyprus and Australia, where the family moved when Peter was just six years old.\u00a0 He recalls that his \u201cschool holidays as children were always based on sunshine. Basically sunshine, beaches, the smell of tanning oil and ice cream. That\u2019s how I remember our holidays\u201d.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

These days he\u2019s a winter snow convert and spent the week sashaying down the mountains runs lined with pine trees.\u00a0 Dating back to 1896, Borovets is the first mountain resort in the Balkans and the name literally translates as pine forest. It\u2019s now a thriving ski destination welcoming guests from across Europe.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Peter and Emily love spending quality family with the children and recommend a ski holiday as a special bonding experience. Peter\u2019s advice for anyone considering taking to the slopes for the first time is \u201cdo it, do it, do it\u201d.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

He explains, \u201cgo as a family; it\u2019s such a good bonding experience because you\u2019re doing activities together. The kids can learn on the nursery slopes, you can all learn \u2013 even the adults. It\u2019s how we learned \u2013 on the green runs.\u00a0 It really is a special holiday. You eat together, you ski together, and you\u2019re laughing because someone is falling but you\u2019re all egging each other on to do better. Then you go off and do something like tobogganing together. There\u2019s just so many things that you can do.\u201d<\/p>\n
