TUI RESPONDS TO CUSTOMER DEMAND FOR SUMMER HOLIDAYS WITH NEW FLIGHTS TO\u00a0MADEIRA\u00a0AND PORTUGAL<\/strong><\/p>\n

7<\/strong>th<\/sup>\u00a0May 2021:\u00a0<\/strong>TUI\u00a0has\u00a0responded to\u00a0growing\u00a0demand from customers looking to enjoy holidays in\u00a0\u2018Green List\u2019 destinations,\u00a0Madeira\u00a0and Portugal\u2019s Algarve region\u00a0this summer.<\/p>\n

New flights and extra holidays have been added to give more choice and flexibility for those who want to get away as quickly as possible, following the news that Brits can travel to \u201cgreen\u201d destinations without having to\u00a0quarantine<\/a>\u00a0on\u00a0their return\u00a0from 17 May.<\/p>\n

The new departures are from\u00a0London Gatwick, Manchester,\u00a0Birmingham and Bristol,\u00a0as\u00a0follows:<\/p>\n

Funchal\u00a0(Madeira)<\/strong>:\u00a0additional\u00a0weekly\u00a0flights\u00a0from\u00a0London Gatwick and Manchester,\u00a0every Friday\u00a0from 21 May to\u00a029\u00a0October, and twice weekly from Birmingham,\u00a0every Monday and Friday from 17 May\u00a0to\u00a029\u00a0October.\u00a0These\u00a0extra\u00a0flights open-up\u00a0the opportunity to book\u00a010 and 11 night-holidays.<\/p>\n

Faro\u00a0(Portugal):<\/strong>\u00a0additional\u00a0weekly\u00a0flight from\u00a0Bristol, operating\u00a0every Thursday from 20 May to 28 October. This is\u00a0in addition to the\u00a011 weekly flights already on offer from\u00a0other\u00a0UK airports on Thursdays and Sundays throughout the Summer.<\/p>\n

These long-standing Mediterranean gems all offer a wide choice to suit all holidaymakers. Madeira\u2019s sub-tropical climate makes it well-placed for exploring its dramatic scenery and nature, as well as it\u2019s cosmopolitan dining scene, and Portugal\u2019s Algarve has some of the best golden sandy beaches in the Med.<\/p>\n

Now that the Government has confirmed the traffic light system for international travel, customers who have a holiday booked to an Amber destination have the reassurance and flexibility to change their holiday to a Green destination under the free change policy in place for bookings up to and including 31 August 2021.<\/p>\n
