15\u00a0December 2020: <\/span><\/strong>TUI UK today announces the launch of its first-ever winter holiday programme to Aruba to give customers even more choice for some winter sun, with flights from London Gatwick starting on 16 December. The first TUI flight tomorrow is sold out showing demand for long-haul travel is high.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

With the Dutch Caribbean island now one of the UK Government\u2019s travel corridor destinations \u2013 meaning holidaymakers do not have to quarantine on their return home \u2013 the UK\u2019s leading travel company is launching with an immediate programme of seven- and 14-night holidays.<\/span><\/p>\n

TUI has previously only ever operated to Aruba in the summer but has decided to add Aruba flights to ensure UK travellers have even more exciting holiday options this winter. <\/span><\/p>\n

Richard Sofer, Commercial & Business Development Director at TUI said<\/span><\/strong>:<\/span><\/b><\/em> \u201cAruba is a quality destination with amazing hotels, fantastic beaches and guaranteed winter sunshine. Aruba Tourism Authority CEO, Ronella Tjin Asjoe-Croes, commented<\/span><\/strong>: ‘In a year which has been so challenging for our vital tourism industry – and that of destinations around the world – this is wonderfully welcome news. TUI have been a great supporter of Aruba over the years and their quick decision to fly here this winter is exciting news for the island, hoteliers and others in the hospitality industry.<\/span><\/em><\/i><\/span><\/p>\n

Everyone in Aruba will extend an especially warm – and safe- welcome to TUI guests and we look forward to giving them a memorable and well-deserved sunshine break this winter.\u2019<\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

TUI will operate its own Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft on the London Gatwick direct route to Aruba every Wednesday from 16 December. It will offer packages at a range of seven hotels. <\/span><\/p>\n

Lead-in prices are \u00a3974 per person, based on bed and breakfast accommodation at the 4-T-plus Renaissance Aruba Resort and Casino in island capital Oranjestad, for departures on 16 or 23 December. <\/span><\/p>\n

14-night stays lead-in at \u00a32,017, for an all-inclusive deal at the 4-T Riu Palace Antillas on the golden sand Palm Beach, departing on 16 December. <\/span><\/p>\n
