InLas Vegas, United States Of America
All eyes are on the 1,149-foot observation tower at Stratosphere – after all, it’s the country’s tallest. It houses a revolving restaurant, bars, shops and thrill rides. You can also check out Vegas in all its glory from the observation deck. Elsewhere, there are two pools, a spa and more quirky dining options – like a retro burger joint and an eatery specialising in ice-cream sandwiches.
SPORTS & ACTIVITIES
Stratosphere Tower is home to three theme park-worthy rides*. X-Scream rollercoaster catapults you over the edge of the tower before bringing you back, while Big Shot sends you 160 feet up it.
Real adrenaline junkies can seek out the SkyJump* – a controlled descent down the side of the tower. For something more relaxing, try the observation deck, the Tower Shops or the casino.
- Big Shot!*
This ride launches you 160 feet in the air at 45 miles per hour. It's up on a 921-foot-high platform, so you'll have a great view of the Las Vegas Valley.
At 866 feet above the ground, this rollercoaster-style ride propels you headfirst, 27 feet over the edge of the Stratosphere Tower.
This ride spins you facedown at a height of 900 feet. It reaches speeds of up to three G’s, too.
- Observation Deck*
The Observation Deck gives you one of the best views of Vegas from 1,149-feet high. It's the tallest freestanding observation tower in the United States, and has both indoor and outdoor decks.
FOOD & DRINK
You can dine on lobster bisque or Wagyu steak – while rotating – at the Top of the World restaurant. A first-class wine list and 360-degree views of the strip give you even more reasons to book a table.
Burgers are served with a song at retro Roxy’s Diner, while Tower Creamery dishes out adult milkshakes made with rum, vanilla vodka and coffee liqueur. There’s also an Italian, a steakhouse and a buffet.

- Evening entertainment
There's plenty to keep you entertained here. You can book tickets* for a show, hit the bars for happy hour and live music, or check out one of the DJ sets at the adults-only pool in the summer. The show schedule is always changing, but to give you an idea, past shows have included the likes of the Celestia acrobatics show and various comedy nights.
