    With daredevil rides, a revolving restaurant and a sky-high observation deck, the Stratosphere was made for thrill seekers.

    It’s hard to miss this hotel – you can see its needle-topped tower from miles away. At the northern end of the strip, it’s a 10-minute drive from all the action. Or you can catch the Deuce bus, which runs 24/7.

    This place is half hotel, half theme park. Its trio of rides are the highest in the USA. And there’s also the Guinness World Record-holding SkyJump, which sees you leaping from the 108th floor of the tower.

    It’s worth noting that there are extra hotel fees that you’ll be asked to pay on check-in or check-out. We’ll let you know how much this is when you come to book. You'll also need to pay a security deposit by cash or credit card on arrival - this will be refunded on check-out as long there are no charges or damages to your room.

      Up on the 8th floor rooftop, the Elation Pool comes with three whirlpool tubs. It's the place to go for activities and pool games, or you can take it easy and hire out one of the cabanas*. Just so you know, the poolside café and bar is only open in the warmer months, and under-18s need to be accompanied by an adult.

      There's plenty to keep you entertained here. You can book tickets* for a show, hit the bars for happy hour and live music, or check out one of the DJ sets at the adults-only pool in the summer. The show schedule is always changing, but to give you an idea, past shows have included the likes of the Celestia acrobatics show and various comedy nights.

      You can treat yourself to exciting views and a fine dining menu at this award-winning restaurant. It's located more than 800ft above Las Vegas and does a full 360 degree rotation every 80 minutes.

    I found myself needing a place to stay in Las Vegas. When I checked out prices I found the Strat (as they are calling it) to be reasonably priced. The only negative to this hotel is that it is located at the end of the Strip so getting to any other property requires driving. That being said I must say that they have plenty to offer. Large clean rooms that are very well kept up and very easy check in process. If you are into doing adrenaline pumping activities you can straight to the top of the observation tower where you will encounter rides that are not for the weak of heart (literally). If you just want a very cool place to hang out and see the entire city in 360 degrees you can visit the observation level. Inside the hotel you will find Starbucks and McDonalds. They also have a wide range of other dining spots. A few stores and even a tattoo shop that is open 24 hours a day. Great property in a great town!!

    I did a third party booking through Hotels.com to stay at STRAT a.k.a Stratosphere. Had no issues with Hotels.com and was looking forward to staying there. In the past I had booked a pool cabana 3 times. I observed that the pool cabana policy had changed. I emailed a question and got a response within the 3 day response time stated. However I asked another question and got a kinda "sarcastic" email response that was not professional after thinking about it. I've been in the casino business for over 10 yrs and and did not like the response given since i was willing to spend money on a pool cabana WITH a food and beverage minimum that I know we were going to go over with. Ryan was the person who emailed my response. I canceled my reservation and looking at either Ballys or Luxor. I was disappointed that STRAT had done this. But will be staying else where to have a great time in Vegas with my friends.

    Nothing is wrong with this hotel. For the price, though, it seems you can stay closer to the middle of the strip. Walking back from the rest of the strip brings you thru some sketchy areas. The staff was friendly, food was acceptable at Strat Cafe, our room was clean, and I won $34 playing roulette:). No complaints about any of that. When you walk in from the ride share drop off, you are accosted by timeshare sellers heavy on the fast talking. I did not like that. Felt less than luxurious. They are doing a lot of updating and upgrading. However as the saying goes:location location location.

    We stayed here for one night on our way through - if we hadn't arrived so late at night we would have left and found another hotel. The bathroom was the size of a cupboard and you could hardly shut the door in front of the toilet. Shabby bedroom, rip in the sheets, mess on the floor in the corner. Air con unit so loud as well. Looked NOTHING like the pics above - dark, brown decor and just shabby all through. Never again.

    Staying here for the numerous time an it’s undergone a huge overhaul for the better, lots of new places to eat , the only downside is you have to pay to go up the tower which used to be in the resort fee !
