Rixos The Palm Dubai has a couple of plus-sized pools, along with waterside and beachfront bars. You can sign up for watersports like jet-skiing and parasailing, or book scuba sessions at the diving centre. Head to the buffet restaurant for main meals, or visit one of the two à la cartes. There are a couple of bars which stay open until the early hours. In the spa, around-the-world beauty treatments are on offer.
SPORTS & ACTIVITIES
Watersports are top of the pile when it comes to activities. You can sort scuba sessions at the PADI-approved diving centre*, or book time on jet-skis*, banana boats*, and the Jetovator* – a flying, water-powered bike.

FOOD & DRINK
Big buffets are laid out in the A La Turca restaurant. The spread's got an international theme and includes Turkish kebabs and Mediterranean meze.
There are a couple of fine-dining places where you can treat your tastebuds. One's an Italian place, called L'Olivo, and the other's a fusion restaurant that blends classic Aegean flavours with Oriental ingredients.

There's a wide choice of steaks here, including Argentinian, Wagyu and American Angus. There's a late-night bar, live bands and a resident DJ, too. Please note that dinner is served 'til 11pm.

The Anjana Spa cherry picks treatments from around the world. You can book Balinese massages*, Moroccan body scrubs* and Nepalese tea exfoliations*.

At the spa you'll find a hammam, steam room, sauna, ice fountain, whirlpool bath, separate treatment rooms for men and women and an aerobics studio. There's plenty of treatments on offer here which are crafted from tea and essential oils. There's different types of massages including hot stone and aromatherapy, reflexology, body wraps and hair treatments.

You'll find state of the art fitness equipment at this gym. There's also an aerobics studio, yoga and private fitness sessions on offer.
Get into the party mood at the I-Chill Beach Lounge – it's open until the early hours, so you can watch Dubai's skyline light up when the sun goes down. Elsewhere, the bougainvillea-clad arches of El Chiringuito host up-tempo music sets.
The BAR's worth a visit for the cocktails alone, which include blackberry mojitos and mandarin vodka martinis. For something a little more chilled, share a cushioned booth in the Shisha Lounge.

For children aged 4 to 12 years-old there are plenty of activities to keep the little ones busy. There's mini-discos, music, games, treasure hunting, beach and pool games, indoor playground and much more.
You can pick from a pair of pools here. One's reserved for grown-ups, and the other's a family number with views out to sea. The latter of the two comes with a turquoise-tinted bar for company, as well.
There's a private stretch of beach within touching distance of the pool, so you can change up your sunbathing scene day by day.
